Here it is Spring, and the clock is ticking. I’m working on an artsy piece of jewelry for the 2015 Middletown Arts Center student competition, and the submission deadline is May 6th. This will be my 3rd year entering the competition, and I hope to earn recognition for the 3rd time, as well.
I’ve had a few ideas percolating in the back of my mind for the last few months. But then I suffered a bout of the “I have plenty time” syndrome. (I seem to catch this often.)
So, last week I began sketching up some designs and settled on one. And then I thought:
Would I call the design eclectic? Yes.
A bit quirky? Oh, yes!
How about zazzy? You betcha!
Done and done!
I’m keeping the rest under wraps for now. But I can tell you it all starts with a plump fish.
And ends with a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that’s bound to start some conversations when people see it. I’m counting on it.
Stop by next week for an update on Mr. Zazzy Fish.
Thank you, as always, for reading my stories.
P.S. Do you know someone who would enjoy following the Mr. Zazzy Fish story? Please share it with them. Thank you!
