My newest piece, Serious Frivolity, is a perfect example of how much I love whimsy. Especially when I can throw in a little contrast, like the purple moss agate, which seems so formal. More pics here ….
This piece is being featured in the August 6-9 Art on the Commons event. The Kettering, Ohio event had to pivot and go virtual this year. I applaud the event team which came up with a Plan B rather than cancel it entirely.
My metalsmith friends are never surprised when I design sterling scrolls, rope and balls into my work. I just like the happiness of it all.
